Early this week Chicago pop-punk band Knuckle Puck released a new acoustic song, “Indecisive.” This got us thinking about some of our own favorite acoustic tracks. Whether it’s in the shape of full-band songs turned acoustic or acoustic songs that end in full-band mode, here’s 10 of some of our favorites.
10. “December” – Neck Deep
This song has earned a place in all of hearts since it appeared on Neck Deep’s Life’s Not Out To Get You record in 2015. The lyrics are heart breaking and relatable. This track is enough to get you hooked on the whole album.
9. “21 Questions” – Waterparks
Whether we’d like to admit it or not, we’ve all let a at least one person dictate our mood. This song brings that feeling to life. Not only that, but we’re also greeted by a full band ending making the song feel whole.
8. “Find My Way Back” – Four Year Strong
Nothing’s better than another version of one of your favorite songs being released. It’s even more exciting when it’s done acoustic. Four Year Strong does that perfectly by switching up the original track—but not by much—making this something all fans will love.
7. “James Dean & Audrey Hepburn” – Sleeping With Sirens
A song that will make your heart melt the second it begins. It’s very different from the original in the best way. You’ll definitely have it on repeat for days and days.
6. “Three Cheers For Five Years” – Mayday Parade
Another acoustic version of a full band song done beautifully. If you weren’t a Mayday Parade fan before, you will be after hearing this.
5. “If It Means A Lot To You” – A Day To Remember
A lot of us grew up listening to this and brings back memories of middle school or your first year in high school. It’s safe to say that no one can deny how great of a song this is.
4. “My Heart Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon” – Fall Out Boy
This song is simple and elegant. The lyrics are tongue-in-cheek and the vocals are being pushed, making a perfect combination.
3. “If I’m Lucky” – State Champs
A sweet song exposing feelings for someone which to most of us can be a scary thing. This song will make your heart happy to listen to.
2. “Northern Downpour” – Panic! At The Disco
A gem off Pretty. Odd. good for all moods. The vocals are smooth and soothing making this a tune to remember.
1. “Remembering Sunday” – All Time Low
It’s a song that made you fall in love with All Time Low. This one shows you their softer side and makes you want to hear more of it.
