Can you describe your band in three words or a phrase you want to be remembered by?

Honestly, I wish we could, but we can’t think of anything. Anyways, here’s a bunch of three word phrases we just came up with:
Strip Mall Jesus
BIG BAD RIFFS
Yung Bad Boys
Chief Keef’s Cellmate
Party Rock Anthem
Jimmy the “Fist”
Adidas Track Suits
DIY Tour Warriors!!

What was your inspiration for Troubled Mind’s newest song “Get Well Soon”? How are you feeling since the release of the song and the new music video?

Around the time of me writing “Get Well Soon”, I was listening to a lot of Movements. The song was originally supposed to be slower in tempo, but we got bored of playing it like that. We sped it up quite a bit and the song ended up sounding a lot more high energy, which is more our ballpark anyways.

If you had to pick one line from “Get Well Soon” as a favorite what would you select and why?

I think my favorite line is in the bridge where I sing “Do you see, what we all see, your mirrors broke but it’s haunting me” Our whole idea for the music video came from that one line.

When you are writing music and you hit a writers block, how do you refocus yourself?

Honestly, I love going on walks to help reset myself. Walks are very peaceful for me and help me clear my head.

Who are your main musical influences?

Title Fight, The Wonder Years, Basement, Balance and Composure, xspongexcorex, and Crazy Frog.

You are currently on your summer tour. What are some of your favorite band memories you guys have made?

The other night in San Diego we were invited to this DIY comedy club that also hosts wrestling shows. The owners were having this secret after party where all the comedians do a bunch of drugs and try to do standup. It was mostly not funny material and everyone bombed. There was maybe 10 people there. It was hilarious and I’ll remember that night for the rest of my life.

What are your goals with Troubled Minds for the rest of 2022?

Our goals for the rest of this year is to put our upcoming record out and tour as much as possible off it!

If you could collaborate with any musician who would it be?

Crazy Frog!!

If you could be any fruit or veggie, what would you be?

Broccoli cause they look like little trees!!

Is there anything else you would like to say to our readers?

THANK YOU FOR READING THIS WE LOVE YOU!
