Turnover find their comfort zone with new ‘Good Nature’ album

By August 27, 2017No Comments

Turnover are now back with their brand new album Good Nature which was released on Friday and I personally cannot get enough of this record. Turnover’s last album Peripheral Vision gained a lot of attention from the community for their hit song Dizzy On The Comedown. Peripheral Vision felt as if it was in the Fall. Good Nature however sits you on a beach in California, the wind is blowing, and you are content with your life.

Turnover have achieved something well on Good Nature along with the change of the seasons but also a certain maturity in the lyrics and just the structure of the album alone.

Good Nature brings out topics of happiness, but also to find themselves once again, and I believe that is what Turnover have found on this record. Turnover have found their comfort zone and they are working with it well. “What Got In The Way” is looking back on a broken relationship and trying to figure out what went wrong but also trying to find out, did they not try so hard after all. “Curiosity” is an intriguing song on the record by questioning why are the popular things popular and how trends are set in the world today. Turnover is a break from the normal things in life and they give a great outlook on the world with Good Nature. “Breezewhich is my personal favorite off of the record leaves a big opening for Turnover in the future of their musical career by taking responsibility for the mistakes the person has made, but also knowing that even though it’s sad that things turned out the way they did, maybe that was the best decision for both of them in the relationship. Good Nature is easily a contender for album of the year in my book.
