twenty one pilots announce new album ‘Clancy’, release new song “Overcompensate”

Following a series of teasers, twenty one pilots have officially announced their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Clancy.

The duo, will release the follow-up to 2021’s Scaled And Icy on May 17th, 2024, via Fueled By Ramen. Notably, the release date coincides with the ninth anniversary of their breakout album, Blurryface. Whether this is a coincidence or a deliberate choice, only twenty one pilots know for sure.

The 13-track Clancy marks the band’s return to the intricate world of Trench, a fictional universe explored in their previous albums. To further excite fans, the lead single “Overcompensate” drops today at 12PM CT, offering a taste of what’s to come on the new album.
