On the track, VOILÀ says, “Crybaby is what the world would be like if people were 100% honest in their dating profiles! It’s hard to find a soulmate if you don’t have a soul!”
Co-writer LØLØ says, “We wrote Crybaby the first time we met and it was an immediate connection & the most fun day ever!! The song is a warning to future love prospects about what it would be like to love us”.
When it comes to collaborating with Voilà, phem says, “VOILÀ has a crystal clear vision on their project and sound so it made it easy coming in to collaborate on ‘Crybaby’ – the instrumentation exudes so much power and gus’s vocals are packed with passion, it made it super easy to resonate with the message of the song and relate it back to my own experiences. super stoked to be included on this track.“
VOILÀ, who released their debut full-length album last year, has been praised by the press, including Rolling Stone, WWD, People, American Songwriter, CLASH, Billboard, NOTION, Wonderland and so many more.
