When it comes to merch, who has the best?

By October 30, 2019No Comments

As the colder weather starts to come around to the country, there is no better time than the present to bulk up and buy some new clothes to keep you warm during the ensuing months. Why not support your favorite bands and buy some merch to keep you warm? Below are the top bands that have some of the best merch that we at APU have seen!

1. Grayscale

Grayscale was at the top of the list for most of us, and for good reason.

They cover it all, from tees to jackets, to towels to flags, Grayscale’s merch line will have you looking fresh from season to season, with different colors, patterns, and intricate details to style.

Something I’ve noticed about their merch is that it doesn’t look like generic band merch, which speaks to the wearability of the clothes. They are so versatile, and are easy to match with pants or shoes, and they cater to all kinds of colors. If you like black tees, they’ve got you covered. If you like color, they’ve DEFINITELY got you covered.

I would say that most of the merch is affordable. and SUPER comfy. The colors don’t wash out, meaning that you can wear your clothes again and again, looking as vibrant as ever. They are also super high quality so they will last longer than just one season of wear.

2. Neck Deep

My favorite piece of neck deep merchandise is the shirt they did for the 2019 Warped Tour in Atlantic City. It was funny, and had a super exclusive limited run, you were lucky if you got your hands on it.

However, they have pieces on their store that are way easier to find, and fairly affordable. The quality is there too, but not too much color. So for you fans who prefer black or gray tees, they’ve got you covered.

They have a lot of shirts where they have a small design on the corner of the chest of the shirt, and a bigger design on the back. That is my favorite style of tee shirt, so they get points from me for that inclusion!

The hoodies are nice and warm, and stay that way. The fuzz inside doesn’t fade or get matted down after too many washes.

They also do notebooks and mugs and more things than just clothing, which is really nice, and allows their shop to be more accommodating to everyone’s needs and wants.

3. A Day To Remember

The Florida natives really know how to do merch.

Right off the bat, the merch is super affordable. All the shirts are the same price, and they have multiple designs to choose from. Again, its mostly printed onto black tees, but who can really say no to a black tee shirt anyways?

They also have shorts on their merch store currently, which I think is a pretty interesting item, and not something you see everyday. They would be perfect for going to the gym while listening to their tracks to get pumped, or just lounging around at home.

I’ve also heard that the quality is pretty good, but the designs that get printed on can tend to crack/fade, so be sure to be aware before you wash!

4. All Time Low

With their new line of “Its still Nothing Personal”, in honor of the album’s 10 year anniversary, they have a ton of new choices to choose from.

I can speak for the quality on these pieces of merch, because I own some of their merch, and it holds up really well. Colors haven’t faded, no cracks in the designs printed on, and it still looks just as good as when I bought it.

Price is also pretty affordable too, and they have so many options to choose from, I promise you will find something you like.

5. Blink-182

Blink has been around for so long, you would be surprised if their merch game wasn’t good.

The shirts are soft, and they have GREAT customer service.

They stick mostly to the realm of black shirts, and they are a little pricey (over 20 dollars, which seems to be the standard), but, they have a lot of different designs for their shirts, and a few that have a pop of color. They also have a ton of outerwear options, for things like sweatshirts or rain jackets.

Their most interesting piece that I think they have is an LED sign of their logo. It would look super cool in someone’s bedroom, or out on display in an office. It comes with a digital download of NINE, but it is also wicked expensive (and sold out currently)

6. All Punked Up

What? Did you think we would miss an opportunity to plug our new merch?

Heck no! APU’s merch has so many designs, and colors to choose from. There is literally something for everyone.
