Orange County based rock band, WHIT3 COLLR, dropped their debut single “16 Sweet!” The band says:
“16 Sweet is a rock-toward song we wrote when we were 15 and 16 years old. Like many great song, it’s about a girl.”
WHIT3 COLLR crafts a unique mix of retro influences with contemporary flair. The band’s rock sound is a nod to icons like Van Halen and Guns N’ Roses, and their infectious hooks and melodies keep you coming back for more. With thrashing drums and gritty electric guitars combined with raw rock vocals, you can feel their blistering passion blare through.
Friends since 7th grade, 17 year old lead vocalist, guitarist, and bassist, Will Sawyer, and 16 year old drummer and backing vocalist, Donovan Hess, have been playing together since 2017. The band gigs regularly throughout Southern California, playing some of its most iconic venues such as Whisky A Go Go and the Coach House.
With this new release, the band looks to make an impact on the music scene. Their producer, Jon Joseph, helped cement the band’s cutting edge sound that sets the tone for their debut album, set to be released later this year.
