Frank Ocean has had to pull out of Coachella Weekend 2, where he was due to perform as the Sunday night headliner. blink-182 has been announced as one of his replacements.
A statement released by Ocean’s representative revealed that the singer had sustained an injury to his leg on the festival grounds in the lead-up to weekend one, which had led to changes to his planned performance. Despite the injury, Ocean had hoped to perform at Weekend 2, but on the advice of his doctor, has had to cancel due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.
In his own statement, Ocean described his weekend one headlining set as “chaotic” but added that he enjoyed being out there and would see fans soon. blink-182, who played a surprise set during weekend one, will step in to close out weekend two as the Sunday night as one of the headliners.
You can stream the performance live at 11:20PM CT below.
