Kill The Ideal single “Let’s Get Excited” gets video for NHS

Kill The Ideal single, “Let’s Get Excited” gets an alternative video for the NHS – featuring NHS staff and other key workers.  This comes following the announcement that 100% of all profits from the band’s single are going to the UK’s NHS.

Donating profits from the single was a no brainer for the band as their vocalist, Ash Wilson is a staff nurse for the NHS, working on the frontlines every day to treat Covid-19 patients.

In an interview with BBC News, frontman, Ash Wilson said, “All of the proceeds are going direct to the NHS, we just feel that everyone’s working so hard, that we just want to do our bit for them looking out for the country.”

The main “Let’s Get Excited” video went live a week ago but Kill The Ideal also wanted to give a special shout out to NHS workers and their fans.  They asked people to send in videos of themselves coping with isolation and work – the result will be sure to put a smile on your face.

You can check out the NHS video for the new Kill The Ideal single over on the band’s Facebook page.
