Waterparks release explosive new track “Numb”

By March 29, 2021No Comments

Waterparks has dropped their new track “Numb”.

The track introduces itself as guitar meets explosive pop elements. Waterparks swiftly slides into a verse that embraces confidence and attitude. Lines like “cause motherfucker I look good today/self-care, green hair, looking cute today,” strung together showcases light-hearted banter.

The track is laced with easter-eggs. Lyrics in the pre-chorus such as “hello to the fandom/please don’t have a tantrum,” reads as nod to their 2019 album FANDOM and their track “TANTRUM” featured on their 2018 release Entertainment.

Vocals are crisp met with a stern perspective, as “Numb” comes to a close the band fires off a burst of electronics as the words “you only like me when I’m numb” are articulated in slow-motion.

Due to the track’s fast-paced nature, can you keep up? Check it out below.
